Ama Lur is a restaurant influenced by Basqueculture with some Mediterranean touches and has been one of Ibiza's top places to eat out for a while. It is just 9 kms from Ibiza town and is set in a countryhouse with a large terrace for eating outside in the summer months. However itisn't a Basque restaurant despite its Basque name.
This where Ibiza's jet setlike to dine, something reflected in its high prices.
Recommended dishes include mozzarella soup with tomato and squid and seabass with almonds on pistachiosauce. The homemade desserts are definitely recommended as well as the daily specialties.
Goodwine list and excellent service.
